英文简介：The aim of Journal of Tissue Engineering is to provide a rigorously peer-reviewed and high quality forum for the publication of tissue engineering research and its clinical application. The field of tissue engineering by its very nature is multidisciplinary requiring knowledge and/or understanding of cell biology, biophysics, materials and biomaterials science and clinical applicability and this rationale is directly applicable to this journal. The primary aim as enshrined in the definition of tissue engineering is to restore, maintain and/or improve tissue or organ function and this may be effected by the use of cells in combination with material substrates and also may be coupled with appropriate growth and guidance factors.
